NAGAMBIE BREWERY & DISTILLERY – COVID 19 POLICIES

We are delighted to welcome guests to Nagambie Brewery & Distillery. We continue to actively monitor the latest COVID-19 information and operating guidelines whilst taking active steps to ensure our guests and staff stay safe.

All Victorian hospitality venues are regulated and governed by the Victorian Food Act 1984. A major part of this Act is personal hygiene standards which our team practise and apply in our day to day roles. In addition to this, Nagambie Brewery & Distillery has increased our vigilance around housekeeping standards and all front of house services. This includes:

Increased cleaning

Our team follows a rigorous sanitising and disinfecting plan, focusing on all shared surfaces including counters, tables, door handles, chairs, telephones and bathrooms, which all staff have been trained and instructed to follow.

Physical distancing

Encouraging guests to maintain a safe distance of 1.5m whenever possible, providing physical barriers and floor markings; and limiting dine-in service to table service only. The location of tables in Nagambie Brewery & Distillery has been carefully considered to ensure it aligns with social distancing guidelines, minimising person to person contact.

Monitoring Guest Numbers

We will carefully monitor guest numbers in each of our dining spaces to ensure we remain within the latest guidelines.

Capturing Contact information

Government guidelines state that venues must request each person who attends to provide their first name and a contact phone number to allow for contact tracing. Venues must keep a secure record of those details, the date and time at which the person attended the facility, and the dining area/room and table number at which they were seated. Records will be securely stored and safely destroyed after 28 days.

Reduction or removal of shared touchpoints

The removal of communal and self-service equipment, laminated menus that are cleaned between each use, encouraging contactless payments from our guests, encouraging online and phone bookings to minimise contact.

Communication

Nagambie Brewery & Distillery is committed to transparency and will ensure any potential cases of contamination are communicated with the correct authorities as required. Furthermore, we have implemented a strict 2-week self-quarantine for team members showing any symptoms of the virus with a certified medical clearance required prior to returning to work.

Our Guests

We ask all guests to please wash your hands frequently with either an alcohol-based hand sanitiser or soap. If you have symptoms of a fever, cough or cold please contact the health direct hotline on 1800 022 222 and quarantine yourself until further instruction is given from the hotline or until you are given certified medical clearance.
